A small present

Thu Oct 9, 2008, 2:06 AM
Right now, I'm trying to write something for someone's present... It's called Four Windows (working title), and it's a Korean Drama. In the beginning, it's based in Seoul, and it moves to Melbourne, where most of the action happens. There are four people, two who are in Korea, and two that are in Australia.

The story begins through the eyes of uhh... (I'm bad with Korean names, since I'm not one... sorry) yeah, so she's sitting in class, reflecting about the fact that she likes this guy. Unfortunately, he's leaving for Australia in a few days, and she can't pluck up the courage to ask him out. Later on, we cross over to her room, with dictionaries open, and she's scribbling notes down. On her desk is an permanent residency form to enter Australia. When she puts on her headphones, the song that she listens to is Haru Haru by Big Bang. A few names are scribbled down on her notepad, as well as a few notes in English.

Window number 2 opens on a plane. Sadly enough, it's the other guy, who's thinking about her, and why he didn't ask her out. Also, he's a legend in Counter Strike, and currently, he's headshotting another team worth of people that are on the plane. Also, after thinking about her, he begins to think about Australia, and why he's there. Currently, he's failing school, and it seems to him that the only thing that he's good at is Counter Strike. His parents are pressuring him majorly, and it seems to him that going to Australia is his last chance to redeem himself. The scene changes to Melbourne on a rainy day, as his iPod plays Linkin Park's Numb. He walks up to his new school, Melbourne International College, and acknowledges that this will be his home for around 3 years.

The third window opens, when the Korean guy walks into class. His teacher introduces the new guy, and he immediately notices his accent, and smiles to himself. Being extremely clever, he'd earned his place at the school through a scholarship, and has the arrogance to accompany it. She puts the new student next to him, and he immediately introduces himself as Eric. Smiling to himself when he realizes that he's not too clever, he spends lunch humiliating him. Grabbing his MP3 player when he walks towards the train, his theme song is Thx For the Mmrs by Fall Out Boy.

Finally, the last window opens, and it's a girl in another class of the school. She's this guy's ex, and is still a bit disturbed about what he did to her. She's also relatively smart, and is a novellist in the making. Being the Korean girl's first friend, she helps her to pick a name for herself, and suggests the name Jessica. Her name is Robin, and she mostly keeps to her group of friends, because of her ex. She then notices the new Korean guy, and begins talking to him.

Concept Finished. Drama Begins ;D
